Business technology classes DO come in handy. Sure you think that it only gets you in trouble with your parents when you fail your computer class or that they only aggravate the snot out of you when the computer won't work right, but really without technology, you wouldn't be where you are today. To encourage you a bit and show you how much technology really does help you in your life, here are some ways that my business classes are helping me and preparing me for the world of work:
I receive patience.
I learn better time management. (especially in online courses)
Business technologies show me how to be self-disciplined. (doing things even though I don't want to do them.)
My E-commerce class is showing me how to be self-managing and preparing me to run an online business someday.
By having experience in technology, I am more likely to be chosen for certain jobs. (ex. secretary)
So, if you keep these things in mind as you take these business courses you will have a more positive outlook on life. Just keep in mind how technology has helped you out in life. Not only has it helped you in the past, but it is helping you know. Technology is allowing you to read this website and it will continue helping you in the future and in your world of work.
